CATHERINE F. SORIANO, O.D.
Dr. Louis Chesner retired in january 2022. he has provided exception eyecare to the community for over 45+ years. Dr. chesner has entrusted dr. catherine soriano to continue his legacy and continue care for longtime patients along with new patients.
Dr. Catherine Soriano grew up in South Bay and was in the care of the same optometrist throughout her childhood and young adult years. Her need for corrective lenses and the desire to work in healthcare led her to pursue optometry. After graduating from Montgomery high school, she completed a bachelors in science, applied ecology at the university of california, irvine.
She is a doctor of optometry from the illinois college of optometry in chicago.
Dr. soriano returned to her hometown of san diego to provide quality eyecare in the community. she worked in ophthalmology for the past 15 years and has cared for patients from 5 to 95 years old.
In her spare time she enjoys our local beaches with her husband and two daughters, listening to podcasts, enjoying great food with friends and family and traveling. she treats her patients with the same care that she provides for her family.
